I'm still building this kit as I'm taking my time not because it my first PG but the PG kit I wanted since I watched wing in the early 2000s on toonami. I've seen alot of people complain about this kit but so far I have yet to have a problem with it other then really so many small screws and probably the LEDs when I get there xD but other then that I'm so far loving it and can't wait till I have it finished :D
Item arrived in a timely manner. Love the stickers that USAGS sends with the package! I definitely don't recommend this build for beginners as I found the electronics to be a little difficult and required a lot of patience. Super important to read the directions thoroughly.
I have quite a few Gundams with very large or wings for their size, but none as gorgeous as the wings of this bad boy. He will definitely dominate any collection you display him on, his wings will always captivate the eyes once they are unfolded. That is, if you can unfold his wings and display him properly The waist is just a pure nightmare, a ball joint here and a ball joint there and 1 more ball joint connecting this ball joint to that ball joint. This makes for some amazing poses, that you have to manhandle for him to maintain. Every other joint, aside from the main feathered wings, are plenty stiff. These wings can be fixed with a bit of glue, but this waist is just lost cause. Too much free movement in the hips and the weak chest to waist joint make it impossible for him to hold his own wings without the help of a stand. Should you try to unfold these wings while he stand up, or a stand placed on his waist and not his back, he will bend backwards like any good yoga instructor will try to make you do. A very fun, yet fairly challenging build, and an amazing product. The feathers are lovely, haven’t moved them much yet but I can already feel their strength. A stand is a necessity if you want to see the true beauty of these gorgeous wings.
