Hes a very well engineered kit. Very flexible and holds poses well. Messer does seem a bit chunky at first glance, but the design of the torso mitigates that very well. It was a joy to build and I may be considering getting more in the future when they return in stock just because it was so fun to build.
I was able to get this kit quickly as soon as it was released thanks to USAGundamStore's awesomely fast shipping and great service, and I absolutely love it! Building without the polycaps is something I haven't done on many kits, but the Messer is built solid as a tank, and indeed looks the part with so much heavy armor! I really like the color scheme and it separation of parts which allows for great flexibility and the ability to pull off a lot of poses that other suits of this size would never dream of! I highly recommend adding this one to your collection!
A thoroughly modern HGUC kit, and an equally enjoyable experience. The “trick” torso is super cool, and despite its relative chunkiness, the kit is surprisingly poseable. My only complaint is that the rifle is a little lacklustre, but that’s a design issue, not a kit issue. Overall, I’d highly, highly recommend it. It’s a big boy, you get a lot of plastic for your money. Great shelf presence, and from what I’ve seen on reddit, it’s eminently customisable. Panel lines are simple and there’s nothing too difficult to get to. If you have a thing for monoeyes, but you’re sick of Zakus, the Messer is a must-buy.
