My son love it.
Very nice GM.
I like how it's a nice clean white and red.
The beam gun looks very nice.
The only complaint would be the antenna feels too flimsy and loose.
I'm probably gonna super glue it.
It is a pretty old HGUC line product with some common cons you could find in an early-year hg kit. First, it does not come with a beam saber effect part (Fig. 1), the beam gun is not painted (I recommend painting it with GUNDAM markers) and it does not have the usual connecting design (3mm hole) for display base as well. Then due to inappropriate design of the body and leg, it is nearly impossible for this one to perform standard kneeling position (Fig. 2, comparing to a standard one done by rx-78-2). There is a 7mm gap between its knee and my table. The ratio problem can be more clearly seen when a master grade GM commander is present. And last one, its waist is fixed with only horizontal rotation available. which limits the pose this figure could display.
But overall it is a cheap kit, about 1/3 the price of MG GM commander (colony type) and about 1/6 the price of MG GM commander (space type, a PB limited kit), and the foil sticker fits well. If you like GM series, this one is still a good choice and a economical one as well.
Great for starting out with gunpla or getting back into to it.
Just like any GM style grunt suit this is easy to build and is cheap with good articulation.
