Very fun to assemble. Friend bought me Alus support unit so I had to buy the core to use it.

when I first saw the Alus variant through the anime, I was very curious about how it would translate to plastic, and I was not disappointed. All the parts fit tightly together and while I'm not a fan of the head swapping and the armor stand as apposed to a variant of the planet system drone, those two points are hardly anything to knock points off the over all kit.

A great take on the core gundam and really fun to mix and match the different armor sets.

The Alus is far and away better than both Core Gundams out of the box. All the pieces are snug and snap together without issue. The Armor complements the dark color scheme and the organic lines just look so evil. Featuring an parts-forming blaster and hand beam saber makes this one of the most interesting kits in the Build Divers line. Even the color correcting stickers are awesome, they all fit into recesses and catch the light without fail. It one of the few times that stickers added to the kits in ways that an additional piece or layer of plastic could not and that goes 1000% for the foil seals that go into the clear purple dome for the head unit. If you have enjoyed any of the Core Gundam planet systems that this should be at the top of your list.

The kit is quite unique and is a joy to play with in spare time.
