This endeavor involved extensive modifications to the MG 1/100 Gundam Barbatos, including the creation of scratch-built parts, a custom paint job, and notably, a unique panel line to enhance its visual appeal. The incorporation of the Tornado Hobby resin v-fin was a crucial element in this customization.

The distinctive panel line crafted for this kit imparts a more mechanical aesthetic to the Barbatos, and the expertly painted action base significantly elevates the overall allure of the final custom kit.

This specific choice not only enhances the model's visual appeal but also aligns seamlessly with the modeler's artistic vision. Consequently, the Gundam Barbatos retains its original essence while possessing a unique, individualized appearance.

A standout feature of the "Advanced Barbatos" is the meticulously crafted panel line. This thoughtful addition lends the model a detailed, mechanical aspect, showcasing Pla-gun's meticulous attention to detail and modeling prowess. Such enhancements go beyond mere aesthetics; they provide the model with depth and character, setting it apart from standard builds.

Pla-gun's selection of armament for the Gundam Barbatos introduces an element of danger to the model's design. The model's dynamic and aggressive posture is further emphasized by the careful choice and seamless integration of various weaponry.

Finally, the expertly painted action base stands out as a notable feature. This base not only serves as a support for the model but also complements and enhances the overall visual appeal of the "Advanced Barbatos." GUNDAM BARBATOS

Piloted by Mikazuki Augus, the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos serves as the primary mobile suit in the first season of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.

Approximately 300 years ago, during the Calamity War, 72 "Gundam" frames were created and utilized, including the ASW-G-08 Gundam Barbatos. Chryse Guard Security repurposed it as a power reactor after retrieval, mainly due to the missing cockpit upon discovery. However, its Ahab Reactors remained operational, and a new cockpit, similar to the one used by CGS mobile personnel, was installed before its redeployment by the 3rd Group. Over the years following the Calamity War, the Barbatos' armor and combat capabilities have degraded due to inadequate maintenance.
