This kit is a good bit of fun to build, but takes a bit more effort than your average Bandai kit. For starters, there's a seam line through almost every major part of the kit. It's not a knock against the kit at all, they're pretty easy to address, but something to note. There are also a few spots that require you to drill holes, some parts will need glue, and the kit is all one color so it will definitely need some paint. If you like to put in some extra effort, want a good starting point for customization, and love Ma.K. then this one is a must buy.
I really enjoyed building this kit and I'm really impressed with the final product. With that being said, if you're only used to building Gunpla following directions, I'd advise to make sure that you're comfortable troubleshooting more complicated kits before jumping in. You will have to drill pretty precisely-sized holes, it benefits significantly from glue, and you may even have to trim down polycaps to make the fitting work. None of these make it a bad kit by any means (I think many of us are spoiled by Bandai kits anyway), but it's just a bit more hands-on than most gunpla builders would expect for a seemingly simple kit.
