i been using color markers for my kits for awhile, when i saw this i wanted to give it a try, and oh boy it saves me a GOOD chunk of time, it works well and easy to use. just press the mark till ink drops, stick it in the hole, test spray on an empty box and let it go
my cons with it is that
i HIGHLY recommend getting more MR, the small can it comes with will last for a kit or 2
and can't adjust the place holder if you bound to have small marker it will pop unless you home hack it which i don't recommended.
overall i love it and saves me a whole lot of time from hand coloring the big parts.
While i like this system alot, i'm not a fan of dealing with the air can. it's not bad and good way to start getting into painting but you will need to upgrade eventually.
I have yet to use it but am excited to try my hand at airbrushing
this is a great alternative for having the use of an airbrush on a budget. the paint takes some time to come out of the markers evenly, but once it gets going, it comes out smooth and looks great. metallic gundam markers seem to work best, but all gundam markers work well. just remember to topcoat properly
These are the perfect way of using up those Gundam markers you may have found yourself with.
It's single action and only has one pressure but it really does quite well!
Use the markers to the best of their ability
Portable. Markers don't have fumes so you can use this pretty much anywhere.
The Air Can...you must keep buying them
Air Cans get really cold and you must stop and wait until they are back to temp before you can paint again.
I made this SD RX-78 only using this Airbrush and Gundam markers!
