The mechanics and construction of these two guns are, I would say, a 2 or 3-star worthy product. Almost every piece has trouble fitting, whether for reasons of the plastic kind of warping, or pegs and holes being too small/large, or the plastic just being really hard. The design, however, is fantastic, and the sheer size of the models included are awe-inspiring. I've attached a picture with a ruler so you can see how long these two guns really are - it was really unclear to me from the pictures included when I bought this. I think that typically, items like this product usually cost around $30 - a limited series produced by a small outfit has to charge more (in my experience). I think that the retail $24.99 price, and the current offering sale, make this fantastic value.
I had bought this kit in order to supplement and replace a weapon that didnt withstand time in storage. The original Type 9 cannon for an MG Ground Gundam lost parts and broke. Same with the hands, but that's a review for another time. The Mk 01, the big rifle, was too big for the replacement hands. The Mk 02, however, was a perfect fit. I used the barrel with the muzzle brake as it was more aesthetically pleasing. In all a good buy, seeing as it's a two rifle pack.
A surprisingly well made a kit with a fair amount of detail put into it. However the butt stock section is very lacking in it, when compared with the rest of the rifle sadly. Which to me throws off the fell of the rifle as a whole. On a plus note the kit is great to kit-bash with. As I used a scope and metal ammo belt that I had left over from a resin conversion build I did recently. I have heard that the kit has fitment issues, but I didn't encounter any on my build.
