RG General-purpose human-type decisive battle weapon Evangelion first machine DX transport stand set
A new frontier of the Real Grade series begins with the introduction of the Multipurpose Humanoid Decisive Weapon, Artificial Human Evangelion. The first release is the iconic EVA Unit-01 from the "Rebuild of Evangelion" movies. True to the mission of the Real Grade line to make these larger than life characters "real", the RG Evangelion features intricate linked parts construction to represent the relaxation and contraction of muscle fibers resulting in a very close emulation of human-joints. The movement of the spine and shoulder blades are linked to the armor parts and follow the movement of the arms and chest, shifting as needed to prevent parts from obstructing each other. From this, realistic humanoid crouching and running poses can be re-created for EVA Unit-01. This version includes a recreation of the transport platform that launches the Eva units as well as special AT Field penetration hand parts and PET effect for AT Field. Includes Entry Plug, Pallet Rifle, 2 Progressive Knives, Umbilical Cable, and 7 types of hands in different expressions.

United StatesThe kit is simply wonderful that at times looking at it I would forget that this is a model and not an imported figure. Highly articulated and looks great just snap built, the color separation make it so painting truly not required to have this looking amazing. The instructions are pretty easy to follow and a great mid difficultly kit that would be somewhat of a challenge for beginners, yet the small "check your work" portions of the instructions help make sure that your on the right track. These help to show you the articulation of the segments and may aid in posing ideas. The posing options with this kit is incredible allowing for dynamic and expressive poses making recreating moments from the series or telling your own story easy. One thing this kit does that I hope more companies do is English color guides. While this kit doesn't need paint and looks good just snapped together, it's good to have if you want to go the extra mile with customizing. I have build a lot of kits from Bandi, Kotobukiya, and Good Smile and the color guides have been in Japanese; which is no surprise as that's where they come from and sure looking up color guides online can be done,but it's just removing one extra step that you would have to take if you opted to paint which while this kit does wonders out the box with color separation there are some kits that would require paint for example Kotobukiya's Hexa Gear line. They looks great on the box then you build it then realize how much needs paint and want to accurately paint it to match the box. As someone that is getting new to painting (only done panel lining) these are helpful and would want more to follow suit. If your a fan of the series or just looking for a fun build the Eva unit one is one I would highly recommend.
