Thrusts itself right into the best of HG
This has got to be one of my favorite HGs I've ever built. An easy build that's still satisfying to put together and an awesome, unique-looking MS, the Gyan instantly became one of my favorite gunpla to mess around with: I can hardly go a day without taking him down and re-posing him. His special hand for holding the sword enables him to get in all kinds of great fencing poses, and his feet are perfectly designed for creating the necessary footwork for it to look believable. He's sleek and attractive, especially after a quick panel lining (very easy on this guy), and I got no grief at all from any of his parts: he's steady, though the shield feels heavy enough that it might initially worry you. My only gripe is I'd like to see the eye be movable like most of the Zakus, but even that is a silly nitpick. With a couple different ways to equip the shield and incredible posability, this is one of the absolute best HG kits I've ever worked with, and I'd recommend it to anyone regardless of their skill level or familiarity with gunpla.
A lot of thought went into it
This Revive version of the Gyan is perfect for what it was designed to do. It comes with a new style hand that rotates at the wrist so the beam saber can be pointed outwards, giving the Gyan the ability to look as though it is naturally lunging forward instead of trying to mess around with a limited ball joint.
