The pros: * With decals (particularly the dry-transfers) this looks amazing! I finally caved in and bought a blacklight flashlight to fully appreciate the Destroy Mode transformation, which is probably twice as cool as any photo can capture. * The transform-able weapons attached are pretty versatile, with the Vibration Nails (claw weapon) being more pose-able than I had anticipated. Plenty of options for using the beam sabers included, too. * A surprise bonus is that it comes with the parts needed to make a pretty awesome shield. If you can find the Unicorn Gundam's shield instructions, follow those and you can have a fun, unexpected accessory. There are even plenty of decals for it. The cons: * I wish the blue were just a touch darker, and the golds of the crest and "mane" could stand to be more of a metallic gold. * The instructions could be a bit clearer on a few steps. Transforming to Destroy Mode can be kind of an ordeal. * Be extremely careful with the transforming crest too- mine broke after one transformation, and I've heard of similar from others. Fortunately it comes with a fixed Destroy Mode crest too, so I would recommend sticking to that for Destroy Mode, and the transform-able one for Unicorn Mode. Overall I'd give it 4 1/2 stars, but I'll round up for a full five. Wouldn't recommend it for a first MG build, but for someone with a MG build or two under their belts, it's a pretty fun challenge.
While it's a very very similar build to the unicorn, just like all the brothers, it makes up for it with the armor de armor, that yellow psychoframe, and color scheme. If anything, glue the v-fin in place so it doesn't get lost. It falls out easy.
I loved Unicorn for how clean it looked outside of Destroy mode, so I originally bought this to recreate the scene from Ep 4. However, after building OVA Unicorn, I didn't want to build this right away due to Destroy mode being so hard to show off. With Banshee, this one is out of the box ready to go! I am glad I did buy this as it is very clean with the gates on the dark armor. The Yellow Pyscho frame looks so good irl!
