With articulation (while maybe not detail) surpassing the Origin zakus, this guy is your late OYW grunt suit. If you are like me and LOVE the Zaku, buy at least three copies of this guy to build out each variant included...then add your painting and weathering skills. There is no limit to what you can do, this kit is the ultimate blank slate.
Overall, I found this to be a mediocre kit. It looks good enough, but it lacks the articulation I'm used to. The missile pods on the legs are wholly unstable and pop apart at a touch, and the mechanism to hold the bazooka on the back really doesn't work at all. The pipes in the chest threaten to pop off the abdomen during construction. For static poses this kit is good enough, and I can't exactly say it's bad, but it's not very good. I'm sure there are better Zaku kits, but for $12 it's not too bad.
I really liked the Zaku II, and I really like this kit. It had a lot of accessories, and it looks very anime accurate. Unfortunately it had a ton of seamlimes, similar to the HG RGM. It doesnt have the best articulation either. I would still recommend this kit to 0079 fans who dont mind seamlines.
This is a good start for beginners. It takes around 4-5 hours to build. The missile pods on the legs fall off it you move them around to much, but they give the model a grear arm to the teeth look. If you're a big fan of the UC modles, this is a great add to the grunt army.
