This is a posable, Real-Grade injection-plastic kit of an item from the Gundam universe.
Shin Asuka's Force Impulse Gundam, seen in the first half of "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny," gets a new Real Grade kit from Bandai! It features an internal body frame that can be separated from the runners already assembled, meaning much less work for you to do, and amazingly precise details as well! It's molded in color for a screen-accurate appearance. The Force Silhouette's gimmicks, texture and details are carefully reproduced, complete with the wings that fold backwards. The forearm can twist on a separate axis from the elbow for a realistic range of motion, and the shoulder armor rotates independently, reducing part interference. The knee armor is also movable in conjunction with the motion of the leg; four pairs of hands are included, as are plenty of weapons. United StatesI purchased this kit based off the hype, and much to my surprise and delight, it definitely did! Even as a new-ish builder, I know there’s a stigma for older Real Grades that don’t quite hold up. Having just finished and been disappointed by the RG Freedom and even knowing that RGs from Unicorn after have a much better reputation, I was still admittedly very nervous to build this one. My fears went away around the time I assembled the chest. All throughout the kit, it was solid and stable, yet surprisingly flexible with deceptive articulation. Even the combining gimmicks with the Core Splendor was surprisingly stable! There’s not one thing I didn’t like about this build. This is truly an essential Real Grade to get!
United StatesHighly detailed, sturdy and perfect color separation. Only word of caution is to be extra careful when cutting out the antenna. These things are thin and delicate, broke mine while trimming the gate. Other than that, the whole kit holds together well. The lower wings are designed to help this kit stay upright even without a stand, a nice touch.
